Ride on Galilee Boat
The ride on
the Sea of Galilee, also called Lake of Gennesaret, was a great experience.
lowest freshwater lake on earth and the second lowest lake overall after
the dead sea (a saltwater lake). Its measurement is about 53km in circumference,
12.9km wide and 21km long.
Quite interesting! It fed largely from river Jordan, the river where Jesus received baptism by John the Baptist. Inside the sea are found different species of fishes, among them is tilapia. This fish is popularly known and called St. Peter’s fish. Delicious and very healthy! We ate it with dry bread. Well, the attention is more on the boat cruise.
We had Nigerian gospel music played to our dancing pleasure. We took
to the floor of the boat and shook our bodies as Nigerians to the admiration of
other nationals on boat cruise too. We had marvellous time on it; dancing, twisting and wriggling. You know what I mean! If you don't, ask any African how Nigerians dance.
Trust Nigerians, when it comes to boogie dance or twisting of waist, nobody can beat us to it.

We made some foreign friends as well. "All work without play!" By the way, the history of the boat is dated back to the 1st century A.D when it was discovered on the lake, 8.2m long. Pilgrims were given the opportunity of cruising on this boat.
I love the cruise. What do do you think? If you've been on this lake before, I'd like you to share your experience. Be my guest.
